ECID "How To Fake Your Own Death" Album Release Show
ECID "How To Fake Your Own Death" Album Release Show
At first glance most would think a skinny, blue-eyed hipster looking dude in a flannel with obnoxious Nike’s to match, would be in a post-electro indie-band. But this is the 90’s for the third time and one of rap’s most exciting new voices, ECID, is not your average newsstand heartthrob. In 2012, with the release of Werewolf Hologram, he saw his sound realized in a major scope. The album reached #20 on the College Music Journal’s Top 50 Hiphop Albums of 2012 list among many other accolades. It was an album fueled by life’s harsh kicks to the family jewels and a newly found passion for heat yoga which completely changed his creative DNA. ECID was shiny and new again.
Carnage the Executioner
Carnage the Executioner
Whether he’s rapping, producing, performing, teaching kids to beatbox or working his former job as a youth counselor, it’s clear the man most commonly known as Carnage The Executioner was born to do two things: instruct and entertain. Musicians, dancers, DJ’s, poets and television hosts who have worked with Carnage recognize his dedication to his craft and would confirm that he doesn’t disappoint. Ask emcees about Carnage’s skill level and you’ll find out that the phrase, “he’s your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper”, actually fits.

A music fan since childhood, Carnage has filled his memory bank with thousands of references from all genres to draw from. Carnage’s start as a human beat boxer has taken on a life of its own. He now uses technology like looping and effects pedals commonly used by guitarists. He enhances the experience of a live Hip-Hop show by providing his audiences the opportunity to hear original Carnage material, as well as unique improvisations and spot-on recreations of popular songs. Carnage is also a self-trained song writer who’s skilled enough to compose a heart-felt story as easily as he can craft an intricate battle rap.

Carnage LoopingCarnage gained national fame from his past guest appearances with Eyedea & Abilities. It’s his own original songs, however, that allow his fans to connect with him the most. Songs like Addict, Save My People and The MTW Story give fans a glimpse into the real-life experiences of Carnage the human being.

Always moving forward, Carnage continues to expand his art & build the Hecatomb crew – a slew of like-minded artists who share his passion to create honest, raw Hip-Hop music. A student & fan in his humble beginnings, Carnage stays true to the culture that both helped to change & save his life.
Moodie Black
Moodie Black
Moodie Black has seemingly appeared out of thin air, rising from disintegrated dusting's of a newly popular genre- noise rap - with a recent featured article in international French publication New Noise, a Death Grips remix, and collaborations with emcee Dalek, Moodie Black has stirred some curiosity.
Shaped and formed in the deserts of Arizona, Moodie Black pulled themselves from the dust, undaunted by criticism for their abrasive sound and controversial stage shows since 2004. Regarded as a legitimate pioneer of mood in a very small class of noise rap (Death Grips, BLACKIE, Dalek), the band's unorthodox approach to production, mixing, and live performance has begun to be recognized by the human masses. Outfitted with disembodied baby heads tethered to gold chains, Moodie Black is visceral, melodic, and of course devastatingly moody. The duo- fronted by menacing figure "K." (Chris Martinez) and backed by guitarist Sean Lindahl- have audiences anticipating Moodie Black's upcoming album, N A U S E A , the follow up to the critically acclaimed Sana Sana, and the first major release for the band.
Moodie Black have much to be thankful for in 2013 with two back-to-back national tours from January to April, a debut record for Fake Four, and a European tour in summer of 2013.
