Fury Things "VHS" 12" Release
Fury Things "VHS" 12" Release
Fury Things are a trio from Minneapolis, Minnesota, made up of guitarist/vocalist Kyle Werstein, bassist Devon Bryant, and drummer Andrew Carson. Werstein writes compelling lyrics and shreds fuzzy guitar solos while sharing the melody with Bryants bass. Carson slams on cymbals higher than his head and has broken too many drumsticks to count. Together theyre making fast, loud rock music reminiscent of Superchunk, Dinosaur Jr. and fellow-Minneapolitans Hüsker Dü. Since forming in August of 2012, they released two EPs to local and national critical praise, recorded an upcoming 7" single, toured Canada and the United States, and opened for noteworthy bands like Yuck and The Men. Their release EP2 landed them on numerous year-end lists, including City Pages prestigious Picked to Click Poll. Their relentless, energetic live reputation caught the attention of famous nightclub First Avenue, who named them one of the Best New Bands of 2013.

Kitten Forever
Kitten Forever
Kitten Forever is a Minneapolis based drums and bass trio. Corrie Harrigan, Laura Larson, and Liz Elton began playing music together in 2006 with the desire to form a band to play parties at the show house they all lived in together. Since then, they have gone on to release a full length CD, cassette tape, 2 eps, a 7", and in July 2013 release their second-full length record, "Pressure", on Guilt Ridden Pop. Kitten Forever's roots are formed first and foremost in friendship and secondly in feminism. Taking inspiration from riot grrrl, post-punk, and hardcore, their lo-fi stripped down aesthetic is both personal and tongue-in-cheek; aggressive and disco. A band of bratty banshee best friends, Kitten Forever believes in each other, pets, magic, and you.
Strange Relations
Strange Relations
"There's nothing to hide behind." That's the philosophy the young three-piece Strange Relations adopted in the writing process for their first LP, -Centrism. Long, harsh Minneapolis winters provided many hours of solitude for Casey Sowa (vocals/drums), who channeled the isolation, frustrations, and desires fermented in those months into a series of pop songs. With the aid of Sowa's long-time partner in crime Marisa Helgeson on bass and synth and friend Nate Hart-Andersen on guitar, the group focused on writing songs that use stripped-back arrangements and cutting lyrics to create a world that both welcomes and challenges the listener. The end result is a record that is vulnerable, intimate, and thoughtful, fusing the personal with the political and the cerebral with the emotive to lasting effect.

Only two short years after forming, Strange Relations have already released an EP (Ghost World), toured the east coast and midwest, and supported a variety of established artists including The Thermals, Ex Hex, Potty Mouth, Eternal Summers, Keep Shelly in Athens, and Crystal Stilts. The first single off the upcoming LP, "Very White Teeth", debuted at #8 on the KKBB national radio charts, gaining airplay from stations like WXRT Chicago, KXTE Las Vegas, and KROQ Los Angeles. The band looks forward to playing more live shows, releasing a new single, and marathoning the entire series of Daria together in the months to come.
